Easy Taco Salad

Throwing together a taco salad is so easy, and it's a crowd pleaser!

  • 1 lb ground meat (I used venison, but ground beef or ground turkey would work just as well)
  • 1 bag nacho cheese chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag spring mixed greens
  • 1 pckt taco seasoning
  • 1 carton light sour cream


  1. Brown the ground meat and prepare it according to the taco seasoning mix instructions.

  2. Crush half the bag of nacho cheese chips, set other half aside for later use

  3. Cut spring green mix into bite size pieces.

  4. Layer the nacho cheese chips and spring green mix in the bowl, first the chips, then the greens and repeated.

  5. Add browned ground meat.

  6. Add two cups shredded cheddar.

  7. By that point, the ground meat was done.

  8. Toss and serve it with light sour cream on the side.
