As you know, we live in a world where it pays to be multilingual. Studies have shown that the earlier children are introduced to languages the better. I introduced Mister and Sister to Spanish several years ago, but have never been really consistent about teaching it to them because I didn’t know how to plan it out. After all, I only speak a smidgen of it. Now that I have Whistlefritz Spanish for Kids, though, we’ll be learning together!
The Whistlefritz Spanish Complete Collection set has a set of flashcards, a book of 40 lesson plans, 5 DVD’s, and 2 CD’s. It combines animation with live action and is a language immersion set (i.e. only Spanish is spoken and shown in screen in the subtitles).
The DVD’s have catchy songs and the kids absolutely love it. The lesson plans are easy to follow and we’ll be using these in our homeschool lessons, though I may hold off until Spring to do them because our roster is quite full.
I heartily recommend the Whistlefritz Spanish Complete Collection for parents and teachers who want to teach little ones Spanish in a fun and engaging way!
Here’s Mister counting to five in Spanish.
