I don’t know if you noticed the bag that I was sporting in my Fort Walton Beach, Florida part 1 post, but it is one of my new favorite things.
It is a medium size VertiGo bag by WaterField Designs.
Lightweight Champion. Vertical positioning helps lighten your load. Ideal for zipping around town or traveling to foreign lands. Works great with small and medium size laptops too! Includes Shoulder Pad.
SleeveCase Laptop Express – If you plan to carry a laptop in your VertiGo, let the laptop express help you find the protective sleeve size that will fit like a glove. Your checkpoint friendly laptop system will help you get you quickly through airport security.
Available in four sizes:
X-Large VertiGo (Size 4) $89 / 12" x 16" x 3.5" / 1.6 lb.
Large VertiGo (Size 3) $87 / 11 " x 15" x 3.5" / 1.4 lb.
Medium VertiGo (Size 2) $85 / 11" x 13" x 3.5" / 1.2 lb.
Small VertiGo (Size 1) $79 / 8.5" x 11" x 3.5" / 1.1 lb.
While the VertiGo is designed as a laptop bag (which, by the way, does fit my laptop perfectly), it is also perfect as a day bag, which is how I typically use it. It is small enough that it is convenient to carry, but large enough to fit my wallet, checkbook, a couple of diapers and wipes, and whatever else I need for a quick trip to the grocery or a day about town.
It also makes a terrific carryon bag, if you are only carrying a few light essentials, which is how I used it on my trip to Florida. I was able to carry a couple of magazines, a book, my wallet, and a few other things, plus had some room left to spare.
WaterField Designs has several stylish laptop bags that would be make a great gift this Christmas, as well as quality iPhone and iPod cases.
All of the WaterField Designs products are made in San Francisco.

Gotta love a bag that is both good looking AND functional!

I agree with Sarah, I have all these bags that are awesome on the outside and suck on the inside. This bag looks like it’s got the best of both worlds!
