My oldest daughter, S, has been using the NIV Kids Visual Study Bible for a couple of years now. We initially chose it because because she has dyslexia. She had outgrown the storybook Bible phase, but reading was such a challenge for her that she still needed the pictures. She’s progressed so much as a reader in the last two years, that I think she can handle a standard Bible. I was really excited when I received the opportunity to review the Ultimate Bible for Girls from ZonderKidz.

OUR THOUGHTS
The Ultimate Bible for Girls is a beautiful Bible. It has beautiful “Treasure This” sections that are illustrated with a heart lock and key. This grabs the attention and each one reinforces an important life truth or verse.
Another feature we love is the “Oh, I Get It” sections. These sections answer questions that girls may wonder about. Sometimes before they’ve even thought to ask!
Overall, the Ultimate Bible for Girls is a great Bible for girls and one that we’re glad to add to our arsenal. I’ve a feeling she may alternate between her visual Bible and this one for a while, until she becomes more comfortable with so many words on a page, but I think this is one Bible she will grow to love.
