As I mentioned in my Journey to Dental Implants – Part 8 post, there was some misalignment of the midline of the 3D printed dental prosthesis prototypes.
The Journey to Dental Implants – Part 9
The temporary prostheses were installed, and aside from purposely smiling differently to cover the midline offset, I haven’t had any problems. Well, aside from biting my tongue when I sleep.
I returned to clinic on May 10th to check out the realigned prototypes. The midline is much better now, and after a few adjustments were made, the prototypes are going back to the dental lab for the final prosthesis.
After we finished up at UIC, we headed to Naperville. The famed Naperville Riverwalk was UNDER the river. :O
After we walked around a minute, we met up with my former roommate for dinner. All in all, it was a great visit.
I will have to return to UIC for the final installation of my new smile, now that everything is line up. 😀
