Since I am affected by Hay Wells Syndrome (one of the ectodermal dysplasia syndromes) I don’t sweat properly. In fact, it is rare that I do sweat. As a non-sweater, I don’t *need* deodorant or antiperspirant. NEVERTHELESS, I apply it daily. Who knows when a miracle may occur and I suddenly start perspiring? Should that happen, I want to make sure I am covered. That being said, I tend to get deodorants that are scented, because if I’m gonna put it on, it may as well smell good. Lavanila recently sent me their “The Healthy Deodorant” in the Vanilla Grapefruit Scent to try out.
The Vanilla Grapefruit Deodorant is a 100% natural, freshly scented deodorant. It derives it’s scent from grapefruit, sandalwood, lime, and Madagascar vanilla from pure essential oils, and their “The Healthy Deodorant” line is clinically tested, recommended by dermatologists, and contains NO Parabens, Petrochemicals, Phthalates, Silicones, Propylene Glycol, Mineral Oils, Synthetic Dyes, Sulfates, Chemical Sunscreens, or Aluminum.
The Vanilla Grapefruit scent is crisp and clean smelling and the scent is long lasting. I likely would have enjoyed the Vanilla Blackberry or Vanilla Coconut scent more, but that is just a personal preference.
The Healthy Deodorant can be purchased at http://www.lavanila.com and retails for $14.
