Each year around Christmas we try to get our kids one new game (board or otherwise, just NOT video) to add to our collection of family games. As a kid I remember playing games with my parents and siblings and it was a blast, so that was a tradition that we wanted to carry over into our family.
This year, my big girls (ages 6 and almost 9) will be receiving Spy Tag: The High-Speed Spot-the-Spies Game! This looks super fun, guys! It’s a timed game of the mystery ilk, where players must figure out who stole a “top secret gizmo” using their spy skills. The player who isn’t caught by the timer during their turn wins the round.
I think this could be great for my older girls to play together, just the two of them, or with us! It’s fast (unlike other games we own…eh-hem, Monopoly) and we could easily sit down and get a couple of rounds in during the evening lull between baths and bed. Spy Tag is available at a number of big chain retailers for under $20!
