Snips and snails and puppy dog tails… that’s what little boys are made of. I couldn’t resist scrapping this picture of Mister with this snail template from Gloria Val Verde!

Speaking of snips, this little guy had surgery last week. My baby had his tear ducts surgey (they probed and flushed his tear ducts). He’s the only one of the six of us with AEC syndrome in the family that actually HAS all four of his tear ducts! Praise God, right? He also had ear tubes put in and a right inguinal hernia repair. We thought we were going in for a twofer, and ENT decided we could make it a threefer. Whew! It was an ordeal! The day after surgery, he ran fevers up to 103.1 rectally! So, we went back to the doctor. His ear infection got worse with the instrumentation of putting the tubes in. Poor little guy! So, needless to say, he was cranky and clingy for several days. He is finally getting back to himself and is also getting pretty mobile. He hasn’t quite got the crawling thing down pat yet, but he sure can pull himself along in the army crawl! No more leaving things within reach, that is for sure. And those tall wrought iron candle stands next to the fire place… well, they have been reassigned to the basement!
