Save on Prescriptions at Walgreens

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Our family shops at Walgreens, and we shop there often.  One of the (many) things I like about Walgreens is that Walgreens is constantly searching for new and innovative ways to retain customers.  After all, a happy customer is a repeat customer, right?

Just one example of Walgreens quest to keep customers coming back is the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club.

For just $10 a year, a family can join the Prescription Savings Club* (an individual membership is just $5) and receive discounted prices on your prescriptions.  That includes savings on more than 8000 brand name medications, and all generic medications.  It also includes discounts on flu shots, pet medications, nebulizers, and diabetic supplies.  Plus, you get bonuses when you purchase Walgreens brand products and photofinishing services.

Here’s the part I love… If you don’t save more than the cost of your membership during the course of the year of your membership, then Walgreens will refund the difference.  That makes joining the Prescription Savings Club risk free.

In addition to signing up to receive the weekly sneak peak at the sales flier, you can keep up with the savings by liking Walgreens on Facebook and following Walgreens on Twitter.

*People receiving benefits from Medicare, Medicaid or other federal or state health care programs are ineligible for membership in the Prescription Savings Club program.

Walgreens is our go-to pharmacy and we have one in walking distance from our home, so this is especially good to know. Thanks!
