series of educational DVDs in our house. We have quite the collection, and the kids love them. I love that they promote learning through music, which makes learning both fun AND more easily retained.
We recently added the Rock N Learn Learn a Language DVD to our collection. It is pretty spiffy. It covers six different languages– Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, Italian, German, and English– and each language section is approixmately 37 minutes in length, making the DVD just under 4 hours long. As per Rock N Learn style, each section is colorful and exciting. Kids learn colors, toys, clothes, furniture, and how to count to ten. Both animation and real images are used, along with Rock N Learn’s super cute characters. From the main menu, simply select the audio and subtitles from any of the six languages. You can mix and match, or even turn off the subtitles if you want.
We own several different language DVDs and the kids do enjoy them all, but they really connect with the Rock N Learn characters. Just take a peek at this video, and you’ll understand why they love Rock N Learn DVDs!
