In the past, whenever I heard anyone mention Reser’s, I immediately thought of the Reser’s Potato Salad that my husband enjoys. I’ve seen Reser’s cold salad selections in the grocery store for as long as I can remember. It wasn’t until recently, however, that I became acquainted with Reser’s Main St. Bistro Baked Dinners and Reser’s Main St Bistro® Baked Sides.
I don’t typically use prepackaged meals, but sometimes the schedule is tight and it’s nice to have something on hand just in case. With entrée selections including Pasta Alfredo with White Chicken & Bacon and Penne Toscana with Italian Sausage, as well as side selections including baked macaroni and cheese, baked scalloped potatoes, and hash brown casserole, I’m pretty certain most everyone could find something they like.
We tried the Penne Toscana with Italian Sausage, Pasta Alfredo with White Chicken & Bacon, Baked Scalloped Potatoes, and Baked Macaroni and Cheese—not all at the same meal, of course, but within about a weeks time frame. The entrees and side dishes are each supposed to serve 3-4 people. I don’t know if my family are just big pasta lovers, or what, but I served the Penne Toscana and the Pasta Alfredo together, along with sides from our own pantry, and they were devoured. We would definitely buy the pasta entrees again, although we would plan on two to feed our family.
