Little bunny foo foo, hopping through the forest…. It’s almost that time of year and if your kids are home from school you might need something to keep them busy. Now, how can you keep the kids busy without breaking the bank! These Popsicle Stick Bunnies are an ideal craft for Spring themed crafting, Easter crafting, or any animal unit crafting!

Popsicle Stick Bunnies Supplies

You’ll need to pick up a  few simple craft supplies to make these adorable Popsicle stick bunnies not just for Easter but any time of year

Supplies for Popsicle Stick Bunnies at thatbaldchick.com

You will need:

  • Craft foam sheets or craft felt sheets
  • Google eyes
  • Small (regular sized) popsicle sticks
  • White acrylic paint
  • Scissors
  • Paintbrush
  • Tape or Glue Dots

Popsicle Stick Bunnies Directions

Step 1: You will want to get 2-3 (however wide you want your bunny) Popsicle sticks and tape them together on the back. You can then paint the craft sticks all at once, white.

Step 2:  Cut all foam or felt pieces as seen above. All shapes are free handed so don’t worry about it being perfect. You’ll then want to put all the pink pieces on top of the white pieces they go with (as seen in the main complete image)

Step 3: Place a small piece of tape or glue dot on the top bottom part of the ears and adhere them to the backside of the Popsicle sticks to make the ears of the springtime bunny craft.

Step 4: When applying the “nose” section you can place it as all one piece on the Popsicle sticks and if you make the two stick ones the nose circles will hang over the sides.

Step 5: The feet will go side by side on the Popsicle sticks.

Step 6: Saving the google eyes for last always seems easier but you can really do it whenever you want to in the process. Then your little craft stick bunnies are perfect and ready to go for Easter or just a stroll through the Easter candy!

Seriously, how cute are those!
