Summer time is so much fun for the kids. With all of our patriotic holidays fast approaching red, white, and blue is popping up everywhere. This fun and easy patriotic shaker craft will allow your child to shake, rattle, and roll in red, white,and blue.
Patriotic Shaker Craft Supplies
Toilet paper tube, paper towel tube, or craft tube
Blue construction paper
Foil star stickers
Heavy duty aluminum foil
School glue
craft buttons
, craft beads
, or dry beans
Patriotic Shaker Craft Directions
Start by wrapping the construction paper around the tube and make a cut across the paper at the height of your tube. Glue the paper down at the edges of your paper.
Cut aluminum foil into two 3 by 3-inch squares.
Glue around outside bottom of your tube and then fold foil over the end of the tube pushing into the glue.
Add your noise-making buttons, beads, or beans to your tube. Repeat gluing remaining aluminum foil square to your tube. Finish by decorating with foil stars and let dry before making sweet music.
These are great for keeping the kids busy during barbecues or just as a fun afternoon project.
