Special thanks to Honey Bunches of Oats Breakfast Biscuits for making this post possible. All opinions are my own.
Some people thing that because we homeschool, our schedule must be chillaxed the majority of the time. That couldn’t be further from the truth, and it feels like we are constantly on the go. There are mornings when it’s a struggle to get everyone up, dressed, and out the door for all our activities. On mornings like that, I am grateful to have Honey Bunches of Oats Breakfast Biscuits to grab and go!
We have two days of the week, co-op day and swim day, that are just insanely busy. On co-op day, we spend nearly five and a half hours in our homeschool cooperative, then we’re home for an hour and a half for dinner before the oldest two leave for AWANA’s. On swim days, we drive a half hour to swim stroke clinic which lasts an hour, then drive back home for lunch, only to repeat the trip in the early afternoon for an hour private swim lesson. The drive home from that one is only a half hour if we’re lucky. If we’re not, it can take up to an hour to drive home. So, yes, that’s two to three hours in the van for two hours worth of swim. Whew. I’m tired thinking about it.
The Honey Bunches of Oats Breakfast Biscuits, a new on-the-go breakfast option makes mornings like co-op morning and swim morning a bit easier for this harried (ha) Mommy. They are made with 100% whole grain to provide long-lasting energy, which is especially important when the kids will be burning a lot of energy in the pool. They come in three flavors: Honey Roasted, Strawberry, and Chocolate Chip and each packet has 4 biscuits in it. Sister usually chooses the Chocolate Chip and Mister reaches for the Honey Roasted. Little Miss gets one biscuit from each of their packs. LOL.
I like dunking one in my morning coffee, when I can manage to snag one.
Sometimes I have to give chase, because the kids have decided that they make a great afternoon snack, too!
Which flavor would you prefer?
We love honey bunches of oats, but have not tried these biscuit yet, great for on the go though. The chocolate chips looks great.
