It’s been a while since we had to gather supplies and gear for a new baby. Mister was only 14 months old when Sister was born, so we already had everything but the pink for her. That being said, Mister is now five years old! My, how time flies.
Anyway, I’ve been thinking about all the stuff we need for a new baby, and I am certain I am forgetting things!
For the newborn stage, I can think of…
Diapers and wipes
Bodysuits
Swaddle Blanket
Diaper Bag with travel changing pad
Sling/Baby Carrier
Stroller
Carseat
Basic grooming tools (i.e. tiny nail clippers)
Receiving blankets
Burp cloths (or more receiving blankets)
White noise CD
Bouncer or Swing
Bottles (don’t bash, we’re adopting, and I can’t produce breast milk anyway!)
For a bit later on, I think of…
Infant playard
Portable High Chair or Booster
Activity Gym or Exercise Saucer
Crib with bedding

Great list! We ended up going with a floor fan versus a white noise CD and it works great. Dual purpose!
Baby lotion, baby wash, pacifiers, Nap nanny, rock n play, baby laundry detergent
definitely bath time products, good kind like Aveeno, for sensitive skin. And powder for the bum and desitin!! Great list mama! I am so excited for your family!!!
