My in-laws recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.  To commemorate this special occasion, I knew we had to have the perfect gift.  I found it from Nature’s Notebook.

Courtney Noelle is a natural artist and talented photographer with a love for the sea.  Her natural inclination to write messages in the sandy beaches of California prompted her to create custom cards and gifts for family and friends.  Soon enough, and with good reason, Courtney was encouraged to make her custom beach photography available to anyone.

When I first learned of Nature’s Notebook, I knew that it would be a great gift for Richard and Barbara.  I envisioned a framed wall art piece with three 5×7 photos.  I wanted one photo with the date they were married, one with their names, and one with “4o Years.”

I explained what I wanted to Courtney, then she worked her magic.

I love how she took the photos at different times, with the sun reflected at different angles on the water.  To me, it was symbolic of the time that has passed in their wedding, and the promise of years yet to come.

As you can clearly see, my mother-in-law and father-in-law LOVED the framed beach photography.  Since I was unable to attend their party, Barb sent me a picture of it proudly displayed in their living room, above the mantel.
