As I mentioned back in February, Sister celebrated her fifth birthday on Valentine’s Day. She is a huge Rainbow Dash fan and decided she wanted a rainbow colored My Little Pony party to celebrate, so I made it happen. It took me almost as long to pull it together as it has taken me to post about it. LOL.
I started off spending three hours designing her birthday party invitations with matching banner and sign, then had them printed by Shutterfly. The invitations I had printed as 5x7s, the banner pieces as 4x6s, and the sign as an 8×10.
I purchased rainbow ribbon from Michaels, and used it to tie the pieces of my banner together and to hang it with.
I used rainbow crepe paper (from Amazon) to decorate the old blinds cover (that I left up because I hang the kids artwork from). It turned out way cuter than I thought it would!
Sister loved it!
