My Little Pony Party- DIY Rainbow Ornaments and Party Decor

[button link=”https://thatbaldchick.com/pr-friendly/disclosure/” target=”_blank” rel=”nofollow” color=”T”]Press Sample[/button]

As I mentioned yesterday, I made a DIY Rainbow Lollipop Holder as a centerpiece for Sister’s My Little Pony party.  Here’s a look at the DIY Rainbow Ornaments I also made, and the rest of the My Little Pony Party Decor…

I used acrylic ornaments from Oriental Trading with tissue paper and rainbow crepe paper to make the DIY Rainbow Ornaments that my husband hung from the ceiling between the dining room and living room. I cut the tissue paper into 8 inch squares and lightly crumpled it.  I cut the crepe paper into about ten inch strips and lightly rolled them.  I placed a rolled strip of crepe paper or a crumpled piece of tissue paper into each orb. They were a beautiful touch, and I love that I can reuse the acrylic ornaments for other themed decor later on.

DIY Rainbow Ornaments

I hung rainbow streamers over her bedroom door with white balloons for clouds. I used brightly colored bamboo placemats (Five Below) for the cupcake table, along with the rainbow lollipop holder and a bubblegum candle vase that I made with a dollar store vase, rainbow bubblegum balls from Oriental Trading, and a birthday candle. I set a few My Little Pony’s on the table to accent it and laid lollipops out, too.  I used My Little Pony party cups from Oriental Trading for the kids, and brightly colored plastic cups for the adults, along with brightly colored straws.  I did use rainbow striped plates and brightly colored plasticware, but failed to get a picture of those.  We hung rainbow colored balloons (Oriental Trading) and My Little Pony Hanging Swirls Party Decorations (Amazon)

My Little Pony Rainbow Party Decor

We used the cupcake place card holders I previously reviewed to label food and drinks.  I even labeled the coffee as “Muddy Water.”  Finally, we set out her My Little Pony Friendship Express Train Set, that I reviewed a couple years ago, in front of the Rainbow Goodie Bar.  LOL.

More on the Rainbow Goodie Bar tomorrow.
