I cannot believe my little Mister is 3 months old already. It’s amazing how so much of your heart can live outside of your body! Did you see his first smile?
Mister has AEC syndrome, just like I do. Having a baby with special needs can be SO challenging. I mean, he had to have his right eyelid lysed at 7 days old because there were bands of skin holding his eye closed. Now, I have to use a pediatric ear currette to pick his boogies because his nares are too small for a bulb syringe! We’ll become fast friends with the pediatric opthamologist, dermatologist, and ENT for sure.
I think having AEC will help me be a better Mom to him because I know, and have faced, some of the challenges he may face as he grows. At least, I hope it does. I want nothing more than to do right by this little guy! He’s amazing, already.
