Because Mister can’t sweat, I frequently carry ice packs with me wherever I go. I’ve found that the perfect way to carry them is to use Lunch Boxes. They are insulated and designed to keep things cold for hours! I recently purchased a cooling car seat cover for him, the kind that you can put ice packs in, and discovered that it was too big for insulated lunch bag that I typically carried.
For about a week, I drove around with a small cooler in the van, trying to figure out what to get. While carrying cooling supplies is a necessity, and somewhat bulky, I am convinced it can still be convenient AND fashionable.
After looking around a bit, I found the large Insulated Fashion Lunch Bag by KOKO and knew it was just what I needed! It even came with a cute set of interlocking utensils.
More importantly, it is roomy enough to fit the entire car seat cover with the ice packs in it and have room left over! This bag is spacious, and can fit multiple containers or drink bottles, and has an inner pocket to hold a napkin and utensils.
Now I can carry his cooling supplies in style! But, does it work?
On a recent day trip, I put his car seat cooler in the KOKO bag and we left to run our errands. When we stopped, I opened the bag. The cold packs had remained frozen. I put the car seat cooler on his chair, it kept his car seat from overheating. When we returned to the car, I rolled up the cover and put it bag in the bag. The ice packs were *mostly* frozen when I put them in the bag. When we returned home, they were still *mostly* frozen. The KOKO bag kept them just as cool as they were when I put them in the bag.
This is one bag I won’t often leave home without this summer!
***I received the KOKO bag mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.***
