Little Miss

Our family welcomed our new Little Miss, via adoption, on Friday, April 12th. She arrived eight days early.  She and I spent a couple days in the hospital, as she had a little bit of jaundice.  The hospital was wonderful and provided me a “courtesy” room, since she wasn’t able to go home right away. Once her bilirubin levels were low-intermediate, on Sunday, they sprang us to come home.

it's a girl balloon

She had her first visit with the pediatrician and is doing remarkably well.  Our family is adjusting to life with a newborn (and sleepless nights) and everyone is doing well.

snuggle time

Mister and Sister are enjoying their roles, and both are wanting to be a big help.

Ready for bed

Would you look at them?  My children are precious.  God is so good.

Wasn’t the “courtesy” room so nice!!? I had no idea they even did such a thing, but it was such a blessing to be able to spend the first few night with our little one….and the fact that her birth family WANTED that for us and her….so God!
