I love Jazz music and had always wanted to see a live Jazz performance. My mother-in-law loves Jazz as well, so when we visited them in Kansas City, Mo, in 2005, she took us to a little jazz club called Jardine’s.
I fell in love with the music all over again.
The artwork on the walls at Jardine’s was phenomenal. I couldn’t resist snapping shots of it before the evening music began. I love how they capture the essence of the emotion that is conjured by jazz.
The pianist, Joe Cartwright, is a legend in his own right in Kansas City. His music is unbelievable.
If you are ever in Kansas City, Missouri, you should stop by Jardine’s.
