Most Dad’s have home-improvement projects on their list of things to do, and my husband is no different.
HomeRight recently introduced the Pro 5.5 Power Paint Sprayer, making painting faster, neater and easier with the new.
About the product (per product description at www.homeright.com)…
“The Power Paint Sprayer saves time and work. Just pull the trigger to effortlessly release a consistent spray of paint to cover walls, ceilings, fences, wicker furniture, shutters and other things that paint brushes cannot reach.
The Power Paint Sprayer’s powerful motor makes quick work of painting, applying up to five gallons of paint in under an hour, or one gallon of paint in just 11 minutes. The Sprayer’s wide spray pattern provides a smooth even finish without brush strokes or roller marks.
Simply fill the Power Paint Sprayer with paint, stain or wood sealer, attach one of the nozzles. Pull the trigger and paint.
The Power Paint Sprayer sprays thin to thick materials such as semi-transparent stain, clear wood preservative, water sealer, varnish, oil-based paint, oil-based stain or latex paint. It applies light to the heaviest liquid finishes and formulas, and multiple tips allow for a large variety of finishes.
For larger projects connect the Power Paint Sprayer to a paint can with a five foot suction tube and draw paint directly from the can.
With its lightweight ergonomic design, beautiful results and easy clean up, the Power Paint Sprayer makes quick work out of your painting projects.
The 5.5 Power Paint Sprayer comes with 9 accessories for easy spraying and clean up (flexible extension, 5’ suction tube with clamp, .6mm and .8mm ceramic spray tips, extra atomizers, clean up brush and oil).”
What I thought…
The first thing on my honey do husband’s to do list was paint the rose trellis. It was in desperate need of sprucing up.

<—On display—just like new!
Brian was happy to paint the trellis for me, once we got the HomeRight Pro 5.5 Power Paint Sprayer. He said that the sprayer “made quick work” of the trellis. He also said that the sprayer is easy to use, balanced, and “a lot easier to clean up than expected.” The Pro 5.5 Power Paint Sprayer does sound like a fog horn when it runs out.
What I would change…
Brian said he wouldn’t really change anything about the sprayer, although he did say that it would probably be best used on projects with less “air space” than the trellis to minimize waste.
