Homemade Lemon Berry Frozen Yogurt with Lemon Oil - recipe @thatbaldchick

The kids kept asking for ice cream today because it’s actually warm outside.  I didn’t have any ice cream in the freezer, and I wasn’t about to make a trip to the grocery store just for ice cream with three kids in tow, so I did the next best thing. I grabbed my Cuisinart Food Processor and whipped up a batch of homemade lemon berry frozen yogurt.

It was seriously simple to make and requires only three ingredients: frozen berries, low fat vanilla yogurt, and Young Living Lemon Oil!

Ingredients

  • Two cups low fat vanilla yogurt
  • Two cups frozen berries I used triple berry blend
  • Two drops Young Living Lemon Oil

Instructions

  1. Place two cups berries in food processor and pulse to chop into smaller pieces.
  2. Add two cups low fat vanilla yogurt and two drops Young Living Lemon Oil
  3. Blend until smooth
  4. Top with a few frozen berries and serve

It disappears pretty quickly, so you may want to make a double batch!

Happy face after eating homemade lemon berry frozen yogurt - recipe @thatbaldchick

In fact, it went over so well that I picked up a few frozen yogurt and ice cream recipe books.

These look so good, ummmm I feel like making some right now, and with the heat that’s going on down here in South Florida this would be the perfect snack.
