I received a Chromebook in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own.
As a homeschooling mom, I have found that utilizing online resources gives me so much more freedom with my kids education. In fact, we use a great online curriculum that streams a classroom environment for our kids to participate in. Sometimes though, I need to do something for my blog or even simply check on my finances and that could mean interrupting the kids during their lessons. The Hisense Chromebook is a great alternative. And now you can get the Hisense Chromebook at Walmart, making it an even more affordable option!
A Hisense Chromebook is a smaller and more affordable choice for you or your family to use for internet use. With the kids needing to be online to stream classes, it just makes sense for them to have a Chromebook to use. A Chromebook like this gives me the freedom to do my work on my computer, while they also do theirs. All at a price I can afford. The Hisense Chromebook is a great choice for use with kids since it is a smaller size and totally durable for their daily use.
Here are some of the things we really loved!
• 8.5 hours batter life
• Free virus protection software built in
• Syncs with Android operating system phones and tablets
• Google Cloud storage easy since it operates off the Google Chrome operating system.
• Only weighs 2.4 pounds
• 16MB File storage
• 11.6” LED HD Screen
The small size is ideal for kids to use, but the light weight of this Hisense Chromebook is really a selling point for me. I can toss this into my tote bag and take our lessons with us when we travel.
Choosing a Chromebook over other computers, tablets and laptops is a great idea when working with kids. The lower cost and durability makes them a better choice for extended use by kids who aren’t always the easiest on electronics. For me, this is a must since we homeschool and daily stream lessons. It is also useful when they only really need to be online, and not using a lot of programs on the computer itself. There isn’t a ton of extra stuff loaded that your kids won’t need or use.
Not only is it great for regular online browsing, but when my my son starts written projects, like book reports and such, he’ll be able to do them in Google Docs and save to the Cloud for me to see. It’s a perfect way for him to turn in work easily, and all in one place. Plus with Google syncing easily between our systems it means I can have access within seconds of him adding it to the Google Drive. That gives me a great backup storage of his work, and makes it easy to compile for annual homeschool reporting. What’s not to love about that?
As a homeschooling parent, I want to give my kids the best education possible. Having a Hisense Chromebook to stream their classes, practice typing, doing math projects or even using various kids educational websites for reviews is great. I can feel comfortable with them being online nearby, and can still manage my own work and online needs without sacrificing my personal laptop to do so.
