You may recall from my The Sovereign Lord has Opened My Ear post that the Lord miraculously re-opened our son’s right ear canal. It was discovered in February 2015 that ear canal had closed in front of the ear drum. He then had surgery in December 2015 for bilateral BAHA (bone anchored hearing aid) placement. Knowing that God can do what no man can do, we continued to pray nightly that God would open Z’s ear canals.
In November 2016, the right ear canal was completely opened! The left ear canal was still completely closed.
We returned to clinic yesterday to an audiology exam and for the surgeon to check both ear canals.
The left ear canal now has a pinpoint opening.
We will return to clinic in August for another audiology exam and ear canal check.
