We love devotional books around here. I’m always working my way through one, as are the kids. When we received the opportunity to review the God’s Little Princess Bedtime Devotional, by bestselling author Sheila Walsh, we were happy to say yes. This devotional offers 106 daily devotionals, which is nearly enough for four months of nightly devotions. Each devotion has a scripture and a short thought, a rhyming prayer, and a “Good Night Giggles and Grace” activity. The devotional is designed for bedtime, and is sure to have your little girl feeling loved and smiling.
This devotional is cute and colorful. It is ta great way to spend some special bonding time with your little girl. It is a real blessing to read scripture together and help them retain it with the corresponding activity. Topics include things that many little girls have to work through, such as selfishness and being obedient, as well as those that we want them to emulate, such as forgiveness and love. The devotions are short enough to hold their attention, yet powerful enough to make a lasting impact. Although the devotional is written for girls, many of the topics are suitable for boys, too, and Mister has enjoyed listening along, too.
I would certainly recommend the God’s Little Princess Bedtime Devotional for any little girl. It is available from Thomas Nelson, on Christianbook.com, and on Amazon.
