As you all know, I’ve lost a little bit of weight (46 lbs total to date). With weight change has come the realization that the clothes I had for Fall were frumpy. Or at least, they made me feel frumpy. So I set out to find some frump free fashion at Kohl’s
. We shop Kohl’s quite a bit, so it was no surprise to me that I found several pieces that I love! When paired with a few things that still fit from my own closet, I will get some serious mileage from these.
Okay, so what did I get? I got the Apt. 9® Modern Fit Ponte Leggings in black and in charcoal grey. I also got the Apt. 9® Tunic Sweater in grey snakeskin and cool teal and an Apt. 9® Ribbed Cowlneck Sweater in peacoat blue. I finished off my shopping bag with two Dana Buchman Ruched Top‘s, one in a cobalt and black pattern, and one in very berry pink. Toss in a pair of straight leg Levi’s (in black onyx) and accessories that I already owned, and I have a wardrobe to last me until I reach my goal weight!
Take a look at how it all came together!
First, I paired the cobalt/black Dana Buhman top with the black Apt. 9 leggings. I added some blue and silver jewelry and my tall black boots.
For the second look, I paired the Apt. 9 cowlneck sweater with the charcoal grey leggings and my Mary Jane’s. I added some jewelry to finish it off.
For the third look, I paired the charcoal grey snakeskin Apt. 9 tunic sweater with my black onyx Levi’s and a simple strand of beads and bead earrings. My Mary Jane’s finished it off.
I also paired the cool teal Apt. 9 tunic sweater with the black onyx Levi’s. I finished it off with a chunky necklace and my Mary Jane’s.
Finally, I paired the very berry Dana Buchman ruched top with the charcoal grey Apt. 9 leggings. I added a super fun scarf that my bff made for me, some silver earrings, and my tall boots.

Those are some great choices! Being 27 weeks pregnant I want to do tunics and leggings for the winter so I can wear my boots everywhere!
