While out shopping this morning, I happened to notice a dog costume among the Halloween costumes. Not being a dog owner, I was intrigued by the notion of dressing a canine in costume, so I came home and browsed Flicker’s pet costume photos. Here are a few of my favorites.

My favorite is the first one, the pit bull dressed as a lion. It’s such a good costume for that dog!

Wow, that first costume really is perfect for that dog.
I had yorkies (like Lady speed bug & gone fishing) they would never be seen even dead wearing a costume! they even hated sweaters even when the temps were elevenity billion below! but my neighbors beagle will wear anything she outs on him & love it. I think they are fun, silly & goofy all at the same time.

OMG love those. With each one I was like “THIS is the best”… “NO, THIS is the best!” I wish they made costumes big enough for my pooch.

Even though I’d never put my dogs through the humiliation of dressing them up these were fun to look at.
These are funny. We bought a yellow submarine costume for our dog on clearance after Halloween last year, but I’m not sure if we will actually make him wear it or not.
