My kids love music, and while we were recently shopping, they saw some recorders that they just had to have. As I had visions of my kids tooting their horns all over the house, I couldn’t help but think what a cute Valentine it would make. So, I picked up a couple of them and thought I’d share my DIY Valentine- You Blow Me Away idea with you. Of course, I had to create a printable to go along with it, and I’m sharing that, too.

While most of my kids friends parents would be fine with them receiving a recorder for Valentine’s Day, you do have to be discerning when considering such a Valentine gift. I did have one friend who said, “I pity the fool who gives my kid one of those…” I had to chuckle, because I remember well how I felt when my brother gifted my kids a set of six musical bells… You can’t just give noisemakers to anyone. LOL.
The printable tag is the one shown in the pictures, and says You Blow Me Away, Valentine. There are eight to a sheet on the pdf, and of course the actual tag doesn’t have my url on it. 🙂
