Of course, after I made Mister’s DIY Captain America Shield, Sister insisted her butterfly costume needed a shield.
I still had my Paintshop Pro X4 file open, so I quickly made this printable flower shield.
I printed it on white paper, used our Scotch laminator (available at http://www.bestbuy.com/ or at http://www.walmart.com/), and cut it out.
Once again, I used packaging tape to affix the shield to a Styrofoam plate, and used Duck tape to make a handle.
She was tickled pink!
I have a feeling I’ll be making more shields, since it’s so stinking easy.
That was so nice of you to make your little girl a shield, too! I bet they both will enjoy playing with these even after Halloween…because who doesn’t love a toy shield?
