You’d be surprised at how hard it can be to find comfortable and stylish shoes when you need them. I have a wide foot, and have trouble finding cute shoes that are comfy. Many companies only focus on one thing or the other, and never the twain shall meet. That is, until I recently found cute AND comfy Mary Jane’s from Arcopedico!
The Arcopedico Velcro strap L45 are Vegan friendly Mary Jane style shoes that are so comfortable you will forget that you are even wearing them. I literally wore them all over Branson while we were on vacation and loved them. They have an upper that is made from Lytech with a hook and loop closure that allows you to get them on and off with ease. It also makes sure that you have a secure fit so that you can have confidence in every step that you take.
Another feature that I loved was that the cushioned insole massaged my foot with every step and if you wanted to take it out to clean it you could because they are removable. The outsole is made from a textured polyurethane so that it will deliver comfort and durability on any surface that you may come in contact with. These shoes are lightweight at only 6 oz and you will feel comfortable because they only have a one inch heel. I can’t wear regular heels because I have lumbar damage and most heels bother my back. These didn’t bother it at all.
This shoe is incredibly comfortable because the fabric is stretchy and breathable. The breathable part is HUGE for me. I don’t sweat properly, so my feet get hot. Not in these! The adjustable strap is perfect for those that worry about foot issues such as bunions or others. The fabrics and color choices that they have available make these a fun and supportive shoe to wear all at the same time. These shoes were dressy enough that I could wear them with dresses or just with jeans, too.
I just love that I don’t have to pick between cute and comfy with these Mary Jane’s from Arcopedico!
The only thing that confused me a bit was ordering sizes, since they are Euro sizes. I typically wear a 8 1/2 wide in US sizes. I originally ordered the Euro 40. They were too tight across the bridge (i.e. widest part of my foot), so I returned them and got the Euro 41, which is a US 9. It fit beautifully.
