I don’t know what it is about classic wooden toys that I like so much, but I do. Maybe it’s that they remind of me of the simplicity of my childhood, or because classic toys often become heirlooms. Either way, I find that I am appreciating classic wooden toys more and more. For over 30 years, PlanToys has been creating beautiful wooden toys by recycling the wood from expired rubber wood trees. Their toys inspire imaginations and promote a commitment to sustainable play for generations to come.I recently received two classic toys from Plan Toys, for review, and am absolutely in love with them.

It retails for just $10 and is simple, cute, and durable. The basic shapes are matched by color to their holes, and the handle design makes it easy for baby to grip.
The Push-Along Duck makes a realistic flip-flop with its feet when pushed. The duck feet are made from natural rubber sheet, which should make them a cinch to clean up.
