Brian and I left St. Louis yesterday after dropping the kids off at my Aunt Karyn’s (THANKS Aunt Karyn!) and hopped on I-55 to drive to Chicagoland for the Chicago Baby and Toddler Expo. I won tickets for the Expo from MamaDweeb (Thanks, Annie) and my dear friend LaTonya graciously offered to host us (Thanks, LaTonya).
This morning, we got up early and headed to the Renaissance Hotel in Schaumburg for the show. We arrived by 7 a.m. (show started at 10 a.m.) and there were already 26 people in line! Wow! Chicago takes their babying seriously!
I ended up being the 27th Mom in line, which means I was one of the first fifty and got a SWAG bag. Woot! I got some loot!
The exhibitors hall was teaming with people shortly after ten. What fun! We had the opportunity to see the latest diaper bags from Mrs. Smith, chat with the author of Birth Stories on Demand, and see oodles and oodles of cool baby and toddler products.
I will be posting photos of the show and my loot bag when we get back to the condo, as I forgot the camera’s USB cord. (OOOOPS!)
I am SO glad we came, we have had a great deal of fun.
Thanks, Bebe Paluzza! By the way, when are you bringing the show to St. Louis?
