I participated in a Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for SwimWays. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
In our family, we believe that learning to swim is a potentially life saving skill, and swim lessons are not optional. Little Miss started swim lessons with our swim instructor when she was 18 months old and has learned to love being in the water.
With summer fast approaching, we’re looking forward to spending time at the pool and knew it was time for a new pool float. We trust SwimWays pool floats, because SwimWays has been teaching children to swim for over 40 years, so I was excited to get the opportunity to review a new SwimWays Bay Spring Float. Someone else was excited to see it, too!
We took the new pool float with us to our swim lesson, to try it out and make sure it would be a good fit for us.
Little Miss absolutely loved her new SwimWays Baby Spring Float, as did our swim instructor. She was impressed with how well it held up our almost 35lb toddler, and the double flotation ring prevented her from tipping the float even when she reached for the pool toys. The float comes with a canopy, but since we were indoors we left it off. It will come in real handy when we’re in California on vacation, though!
National Learn to Swim Day is May 16, 2015. This day is designed to remind parents and guardians to kick off summer safely by engaging their children in water safety and swim instructions. SwimWays believes that swimming is an important life skill and that all children should have the opportunity to learn to swim. This will be the fourth annual National Learn to Swim Day.
SwimWays pool floats are inexpensive and are available at Toys R Us.
