BUNNZOO Diapers are made by a WAHM, Michell, and are made in her home sewing room in Nebraska. Michell’s motto, as listed on her site, is “a CUTE and QUALITY diaper is not always EXPENSIVE.” I can live with that! Michell makes a variety of diapeers, including pockets, covers, and hybrids.
Michell recently sent me a one size pocket diaper in a pink stripe material. It is SO cute. Her one size diapers fit from 10lbs to 35 lbs, and the pocket diapers range from $18.95 to $24.99 dependent on fabric. This diaper has a cotton exterior with hidden PUL layer and inner microfleece layer, and came with a microfiber insert.
The wings on this diaper are symmetrical and the stitching is even. It has four rise settings and a hook/loop closure with laundry tabs. The horizontal stripes are straight without any wonky lines.
This diaper is so cute on the baby. As you can see, some of the microfleece tries to creep out at the leg openings when it is fastened on the smallest rise setting. I’m not sure if it’s because of the hidden layer of PUL, or if it will happen on the larger rise settings, but I am able to tuck it back in, as you can see in the bottom right photo. The creeping microfleece hasn’t caused any issues, but I am the paranoid type and I use this diaper during the day only and try to use it with lap shirts or leave the onesie unsnapped just in case it wicks. It hasn’t yet, and we’ve used it a couple times, but like I said, I am the paranoid type.
Michell has some of the cutest fabrics listed on her BUNNZOO Fan Page. Like this one—>
Is that not just the cutest? I could easily see it as a diaper cover with black leg casing and elastics. Squeal.
