We recently had the opportunity to review a Bumbo Floor Seat with the Bumbo Play Tray.  When babies are strong enough to support their own head, but not yet able to sit completely unassisted, the Bumbo Floor Seat is a great first seat.

The Bumbo Floor Seat helps baby maintain a sitting position on the floor, and allows them to safely practice head and trunk control.  It is molded to fit baby and to It’s a great way for parents to help baby engage during playtime to mealtime.  It helps baby see the world from a new view.  It is super soft, easy to clean, and has a three point harness (included).  This is one neat seat.  It’s amazing how lightweight it is, which is one of the reasons it is so important to always use the seatbelt.  When not buckled into the Bumbo Floor Seat properly, a baby can escape and fall suddenly.

The two part play tray assembles and attaches easily.  It creates a 12.5″ wide surface for eating or play. As you can see, we used it for play.

  1. I love these seats. My three grandsons have all used them. If I won this I would send it to my newest great-niece who was born 3 weeks ago.

  5. This was one of my favorite pieces of baby gear – especially when my DD was learning to sit – and now it’s one of my favorite gifts. 🙂

  7. My son had one of these but outgrew it so quickly because he was so huge! I did love it though. He took awhile to sit on his own so this helped give him a cozy spot to sit and I could have my hands free for a few moments.

  8. I’d love one for my soon-to-be-born daughter. It was one of the few things we resisted for that we didn’t get, of course when we went to the store they only had pepto pink (I wanted the lime one!)
