Bringing this little guy home from the hospital changed our whole life!
Thanks to AEC syndrome, we are facing some … unusual challenges. One of them is that his tiny nostrils are too small for the bulb syringe, so I have to use a pediatric ear curette to pick his boogies. He also has to have saline drops in his nostrils every hour and eye ointment every four hours. At just one week old he had surgery on his right eye to lyse the eye bands that hold it together.
Caring for him is the best full-time job I ever had!
