While we do homeschool lessons year round, our kiddos attend a hybrid homeschool program two days a week from September through May. We use their first day of the hybrid program to snag their “first day photos.” I wanted to share our back to homeschool must haves with you. Stick around to the end of the post, there’s an AMAZING giveaway of must have homeschool resources!
First, a photo of my kiddos on their first days…
Mister is in 5th grade, Sister is in 3rd grade, and Little Miss is starting her first year of preschool. Hubs had to take Mister and Little Miss to their first day because my health has gone haywire and I was lounging in a hospital bed. :/ He was sweet enough to get pictures for me.
Back to Homeschool Must Haves
Now for our back to homeschool must haves.
Contigo AutoSeal Chill Stainless Water Bottle
We are on the go A LOT. Field trips, hybrid program tutoring, etc. We have to have water bottles that can take a beating, won’t spill all over the van, and will stay cool all day long. We love our Contigo water bottles!

Eco Lips Pure & Simple
With weather changes on the horizon, it’s time to stock up on Eco Lips Pure & Simple lip balms, for you AND the kids. This fun 9-pack has Raspberry, Coconut and Vanilla Organic Lip Balm. It’s organic and 100% natural, so you can feel good about your kids putting this on their lips.
PackIt Freezable Lunch Pack
Again, we’re on the go a lot. Each of the kiddos has their own PackIt Freezable Lunch Pack, and then we have a larger one that I use for myself plus anything that is for all of us. LOL

Coleman Rolling Backpack
My oldest two have to carry a ton of books to their hybrid program. There is no way they could shoulder the load, so we have the Coleman Rolling Backpack.
Laminator
I use my laminator a lot. We LOVE it.

Learning Programs
We actually subscribe to several learning programs, because different ones suit different kiddos. Little Miss loves ABCMouse.com.
Sister loves Reading Eggs.
Sister also uses Raz-Kids, which is one of the Learninga-z programs. Her tutor recommended it and we really like it.
Mister enjoys using Smartick Method.
Must Have Homeschool Resources Giveaway
In the vein of back to homeschool must haves, I love a good giveaway, don’t you? That’s why I’ve partnered with Encouraging Mom’s at Home to offer an amazing must have homeschool resources giveaway. You might recall that I recently did a guest post over there on 10 Ways to Use Pirate Day in Your Homeschool. If you haven’t snagged it already, go on over and get the free pirate printable I have there. Speaking of pirates, I have a free talk like a pirate word scramble here, and a fun free 15 page Pirate Themed Printable Pack, so be sure to snag them!
Be sure to check out my favorite must have books for homeschool moms! These are two of my favorites, and I’ve given several copies away to friends.
The first, the 5 minute Devotions for the Homeschool Mom is essential for Moms of faith that homeschool. We all know that some days evaporate before we get our devotions in, and this book will help with that. The second, the Homeschooling – What to do when you want to quit
book is for all those homeschool moms that have been at this homeschool thing for more than a minute. Because, yes, there are days that you want to quit. While you can give into that temptation, you can also arm yourself with this book and know that you are not in the trenches alone.
