If you’ve ventured around the cloth diaper world at all, you’ve heard of AppleCheeks Diapers.  I first saw an AppleCheeks diaper on another blogger’s site, and they were absolutely adorable on her daughter.  When I received the opportunity to review one myself, I couldn’t pass it up!  I just knew they’d be beyond cute on my little fluff bottom baby. We received the size 1 AppleCheeks diaper for review in Raspberry Sorbet.

AppleCheeks Raspberry Sorbet

The AppleCheeks diaper is an envelope cover that features two rows of snaps and super stretchy elastic in front and back to get that perfect fit.  It has a soft micro-fleece lining, a waterproof shell, and an envelope style opening for stuffing.  The elastic seems are ruffled, which is both cute and effective for containing leaks and such.

i_pic_applecheeks_envelope_

The AppleCheeks diapers come in two sizes with size 1 fitting from 7 – 20lbs, and Size 2 fitting from 18 – 40lbs.  Since Little Miss is already over 17 pounds, we are on the last snap of the bottom row, and have one more snap available on the top row before we’d need to move up a size.

As suspected, the AppleCheeks diaper looked absolutely presh on Little Miss.  Of course, the important thing is whether or not it works, right?

AppleCheeks Size 1

We’ve had no leaks or blowouts with our AppleCheeks.  It launders well and has held up well.  I love the fact that you can stuff the pocket or just lay the insert on top of it, provided of course you lay the correct side against baby’s skin.

Love Applecheeks. Only negative I have found with them is the insert for size 1 is the same for size 2 and that’s way too big/bulky for a NB. So right now we are using different inserts in the cover, and they are currently our night time diaper.

I love my Applecheeks, the fit is great and I never have to worry about blow out either. Sure they aren’t as cheap as the china made ones, but in the end you get what you pay for!!

Our son is almost too big for size 1’s. We are actually only buttoning the last top snap, so one on each side, and the diaper work just fine! No leaks at all!
