We limit screen time around here, but when we do allow it, my kids clamor to play ABCMouse.com.

ABCmouse is an online early learning academy for ages 2 to 5+. The curriculum includes reading, math, the world around us, art & colors, music & songs, library, puzzles and games. For only $7.95 a month, you can get a full curriculum for your kids from Preschool up to Kindergarten. Each level (there are 6 levels total) offers over 400 learning activities and when an activity is completed your child will earn tickets which can then be used toward buying stuff for their fish, hamster, or their room, or even updating their outfit for their avatar. ABCmouse really is really pretty awesome. It is, by far, one of MY favorite things to let my kids do during their limited screen time.
Check out my ABCMouse.com Review to learn more about why my kids and I love the site and check out Sweet Southern Lovin’s full review.
Mister is now 83% through level three, and Sister isn’t too far behind him. He is still completely enamored by his hamsters.

My child would love the games on here. I learned and like all the different kinds of activities for kids and I like how they categorize them by age/skill levels. My daughter actually sees the commercials about ABC Mouse and asks if she can play it.
I love that ABC mouse has 450 plus lessons with a Step-by-Step Learning Path including books, puzzles, games, songs, art activities, and/or printables. I like that each lesson gives children different ways to learn, as recommended by early childhood experts.
I learned that they offer puzzles and games and that you earn tickets for completing exercises. My son would love to add fish to the fishtank.
The fish tank and hamster cage are quite the incentive!
I love the reading curriculum which helps children learn the alphabet and sounds and sight words that are most important for beginning readers. I love that there are hundreds of fables, fairy tales, nonfiction books, and more.
Of course most children learn best when they are having “fun” i try my best to make fun activities to go along with lessons–but sometimes its nice to just have it done for you! my preschooler LOVES playing learning games on the computer, its one of the best learning tools i have,
thanks!

I love that ABCmouse.com teaches numbers, shapes, patterns, and measurements and that there are games and activities to make math fun. I never liked math as a child so this should give my daughter a head start.
I learned that ABCMouse the lessons of the Step-by-Step Learning Path consist of books, puzzles, games, songs, art activities, and/or printables that relate to a specific topic. My granddaughter is at the perfect age to begin using this system.
I love that ABCmouse.com’s has a painting program gives so kids can learn lines, shapes, and colors to create original pictures and that the games and paint-by-number activities teach children to name and use a variety of colors.
My kids would love to use this website! It looks so fun but yet there learning i seen so many great reviews on this website .there learning and not even knowing it look like its just a game!
I learned that there is an Interactive Zoo
The ABCmouse.com zoo allows children to interact with realistic zoo animals, including elephants, lions, monkeys, zebras, penguins, and more! Learn facts about each animal and read books, play games, and do puzzles and art activities for each one! My lila would love this since she loves all animals and learning about their habitats and eating styles.
I love the Customizable Avatar — So she can make the character look similar to herself. She loves playing games of dress up and hair so that would be fun for her. I have to look into how that works with tickets, but should be easy and fun.
My daughter loves to sing and play music on her toy drums and guitar. She would love Songs: Learning through Songs about every letter of the alphabet and children’s classics. I am excited about the variety of music on the site.
My daughter loves to play games and to leanr on the computer. She would love the
ABCmouse.com games and interactive learning activities, each designed to be fun and educational. She can play games to learn the alphabet, to learn new words, to learn about numbers and shapes, and even to learn about the planets! Since all of the games on the site include voiced instructions, they are easy for young children to learn and play.
ABCmouse.com’s World Around Us curriculum helps children understand the things they see and experience every day. This is usually taught as part of social studies, science, and health. She is going to love this part because she is curious and inquisitive about all the things around her. Great job ABCMouse.
We had ABC Mouse maybe a year ago. My children loved it, but money was tight so we had to cancel it(we were on a pay-by-the-month plan). They were really disappointed. I know that they would enjoy getting to have an account again. They had so much fun and I knew it was a safe place for them to play. I like that ABC Mouse covers so many subjects in a fun way. Kids don’t even realize they are learning.
We are trying to implement a rewards for good behavior at home. I love that ABCmouse.com encourages children to complete learning activities, and try out new ones, by rewarding them with tickets. Tickets can be used to “purchase” virtual items on the site, such as new fish for the classroom fish tank or avatar accessories. What a wonderful idea and great way to teach earning and spending lessons as well.
Well, I signed up for the free trial yesterday because I just couldn’t wait to win ;o). I am sorry I didn’t realize that you get a free month when someone signs up under you. I saw that after the fact on the site :o( Anyway, my daughter loves ABCMouse. She especially likes the tickets and shopping for clothes for her Avatar. She also loves the Map which can take her anywhere she wants to go: school, her room, the mall, the farm and zoo.
My daughter loves the classroom setting where she can click on different icons and pull up her fishtank or art activities or clock or calender to learn about days and months or the different subjects for her to learn. She calls it, “my school.” She really has taken to this program and setting, and I believe it will be a wonderful addition to her Special Ed, Speech and other teachers. I hope to win the 12 month membership so we can continue when the free trial is up. Thanks
ABCMouse has been given the Editor’s Choice Award, Parent’s Choice Gold Reward, Teacher’s Choice Award & the Mom’s Choice Awards Gold. That is pretty impressive. I think my almost 4 year old, 5 year old & almost 7 year olds would really enjoy ABCMouse because they can learn while having fun.
Lila loves getting prizes for her room and buying furniture and items for it at the shopping mall. She likes to decorate it and furnish it and put toys for the ‘girl’ in there. I explained that the girl is a virtual version of her. She asks, that’s me? I said yes. I think that concept might be too far out for her to grasp yet, but she loves her room and likes to go there to recharge after a lesson ;o)
