Hi there! My name is Virginia, and I am the author/owner of That Bald Chick. 1. Eeek! You’re good to be able to take those pictures. I cannot stand worms. I will always remember how they crawled on the track after a big rain and when we ran laps bits of them flew onto my legs. EW. The other day I came upon Adam and Lily in the garden and she was holding a wiggly worm. I screamed out loud – poor kid, I’ve been trying not to taint her with my worm aversion!

    • Aleksandra- you’ll note that it was my Mom holding the worm and me holding the camera… LOL. Really, though, I don’t mind worms. Mom and Dad used to take us fishing when we were younger, and the rule was that we had to bait our own hooks if we fished. Now spiders are another story… LOL. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. that’s one big worm!

    • Katie- I know, right? My Mom came in and was like, “there is a BIG night crawler out on the drive way.” That thing had to have been at least a foot long. LOL.

  3. Ewwwwwwww!!! Very brave of you to take that pic with the giganormous worm!

    Happy WW!

    • Veronica- the bravery was all my Mom, she’s the one that held it. LOL. I didn’t want to miss the photo op of them learning that the worms could be “re-homed.” Have a great day, thanks for dropping by!

  4. I thought for sure that was a garden snake, wow what a big worm

  5. that is a huge night crawler! He is lucky he didn’t get baked onto the driveway or become some birds meal. what a great learning experience for the kids! did they want to touch it? I was a regular ‘tom boy’ growing up so I had no fear of bugs & worms & frogs, leaches & snakes I was not so fond of tho…

    • My son sorta wanted to touch it, but once his fingers got close, he pulled back. My daughter wanted NOTHING to do with it. LOL.
