I have used a stoneware pie plate forever. My husband got it from his Mom, and I have used it since we’ve known each other. I’ve made pie, quiche, and a bunch of other stuff in it.
Well, as with anything that is well loved and well used, it finally saw it’s last day and I had to throw it out. It was cracked all over the place, but I kept using it anyway, because it never leaked through the cracks. Well, it finally did… several times.
So, now I have to get a new pie plate. I can’t make my quiche without a pie plate, and I want to make quiche.
I would prefer a stoneware pie plate. What kind of pie plate do you use? Do you love it? Hate it? Tell me about it, so I can make an informed decision.
