We Sang Ourselves Silly at the VeggieTales Live Show

The Hubs and I took Mister and Sister to see the VeggieTales Live! Sing YourSelf Silly Tour in Saint Louis last night and we sang ourselves silly!

VeggieTales Live

Here are just a few pictures from the evening.  Mind you, no flash photography (or video) was allowed, so these are without a flash and SOOC.

First, the four of us…

And now for the vegetables…

I have NEVER in my LIFE seen so many children in one room that were well behaved!

VeggieTales Live

I wasn’t sure what to expect of the show, as it was a little hard for me to imagine Bob and Larry life size.  I was extremely impressed with how great the costumes looked!  And the mouths moved when they were supposed to!  Of course, my favorite part of the show was The Hairbrush Song.  I mean, it is the BEST silly song ever.

It was kind of funny, though, that every time Bob left the stage, Mister would ask me, “Where’s Bob?”

The only thing I would have changed about the entire show is I would have added the French Peas singing Keep Walking.

Wow!  What a night!

We bought the kids these light up VeggieTales wands ($10)…

They loved them!  Mister literally slept with his.  I walked past his room, and couldn’t figure out what the strobe lighting effect was… he was cuddled up with his VeggieTales wand.  Awwww.

About Virginia

Hi there! My name is Virginia, and I am the author/owner of That Bald Chick. I am a Christian, wife, mother of three, full time homemaker, homeschooler, and ministry volunteer in addition to being a blogger. In my free time *cough* I enjoy reading, writing, taking walks with my family, and listening to music.

  1. Looks like you guys had fun!

  2. Thanks for the info and coupon code! I am planning to take my son to our local show next weekend. Two questions you may be able to answer: is the gold circle area with the meet and greet worth the extra money? Also, would love to attend the least crowded show, any idea if morning, afternoon, or evening tends to be the least crowded? I need to figure out how to get a gig like this! I would love to attend free shows and share reviews – so fun!!!!

  3. We had fun at the show last night in Raleigh, NC. The gold circle section was right up front and center. I didn’t want to pay the extra money for it, so I can’t tell you if it was worth it, but the seats were great. We went to the evening show and almost every seat was filled. This was a Tuesday night show.

  4. Thanks so much for the info on the show. We are heading to see them here in TN at 2pm today and I can’t wait! My kids LOVE VeggieTales, so I am hoping both enjoy the show. We are doing the meet and greet after the show too!
