We went to my Aunt’s house over Memorial Day weekend. We didn’t want to drag out the big suitcases for an overnighter, so we pulled out Sunny, one of the Trunki Kids Suitcases offered by GummyLump, and stuffed it with the necessities.
This little suitcase is perfect for the kids. It fit two changes of clothing apiece, plus jammies, a few toys, their *current* favorite book, and their Bible, as well as the grooming bag that I keep their tooth brushing supplies and her hair care stuff in.
Once it was all packed and ready to go, Mister had the pleasure of riding the Trunki out to be put in the van. He thought that was “super cool.”
When we got to my Aunt’s house, the kids commenced to Trunki races in the hallway and around the table. It was comic. My Uncle Jim raced them too, although he was on foot. Apparently, Jim won one race, and Mister won seven. LOL.
The Trunki suitcase is cute, and it does hold enough for a weekend. I wouldn’t try to pack an entire week’s worth of stuff in it for the two of them, but if I had a second one, I could easily pack one for him and one for her. The locks on the side were a bit annoying, but probably just because I wasn’t accustomed to them.
Had we been going on a longer trip, we’d have packed some travel games, like Flip to Win Hangman, Flip to Win Memory Game, or Flip to Win Bingo. My kids both really enjoy a good Memory Game.
I haven’t allowed my kids to decorate Sunny with Trunki stickers yet. They can’t agree on which stickers should be used. So, Sunny is a little plain right now. I’m sure they will work it out soon enough. LOL.
GummyLump would like to give one lucky TBC reader a Trunki and Travel Games of their very own.
