While it is a smidgen too big for her (I ordered at 2T), she loves it!  She thought modeling it was fun, so here are a few more…

Now, I just have to get the matching rain boots and umbrella for her.   I want to get a set for Mister, as well, but haven’t decided which one yet.

The raincoat is well made, and it sure brought smiles to her face.  She hasn’t had a chance to wear it out in the rain yet, but she sure loves wearing it inside!

The parent company, F.O. International CO., LTD. was founded in Kobe, Japan in 1998. In just 11 years, we have become the largest baby and children’s clothing companies in Japan with 130 stores nationwide. In addition to our imageJapanese presence, we operate 40 stores in China and maintain a robust wholesale business with over 750 distributions. Our clothes are based on our core values–providing the highest quality of specialty clothes and service at reasonable prices. We aim to provide our customers with what we call “total fashion“–comfortable, safe clothing with high functionality that can keep up with ever-growing kids. We opened our first NYC store in 2008, confident our concepts would be appreciated by parents with small children in urban areas.

Although children’s clothing is our main focus, we also promote family-style fashion with our cute, funky, household items such as tableware. In addition, we hope to be a center point for all sorts of family events and the place of origin for valuable information and tips for parents concerning child-rearing and care. We want to make our store not just a simple retail space, but a enjoyable and exciting place for parents and children alike, making it look and feel as though you’ve walked into a big toy box flipped upside down. We also provide an area in the store where kids can play with toys so that parents can take their time, and have fun picking out items. Our restroom can easily be converted into a diaper changing station and breast feeding area so that parents and children can have a relaxing and rewarding shopping experience.

Bit’Z Kids offers high-quality clothing for kids, without the pricey tags, in three collections available in their physical and e-commerce stores.

I recently received an opportunity to review an outfit for Sister, chosen at random by Bit’Z Kids.  I agreed, and after viewing their sizing chart, decided that Sister would likely be a size 90.    I received the Cotton Leggings and Striped Laced Tee for review and was not disappointed.

Both are cute and well made.  The little shoulder straps on the tee are adorable.  Both pieces are well stitched.  And apparently, lace is the “in” thing right now.

In retrospect, I should have ordered a size 95 or 100 since Sister is taller than average and growing like a weed. Both pieces fit her well now, but will not likely make it far into the fall season.

Piggy Paint is Safe for Little Piggies

I first heard of Piggy Paint back in February, from another blogger.  My sister has long offered to paint Sister’s piggies for me, as my hands are not the steadiest when it comes to nail painting.  But, I was hesitant to put any chemicals on Sister’s skin or nails, so I didn’t schedule any mani/pedi’s with Aunt Nee Nee.  So, when I saw the blog post on Piggy Paint, I web jogged over to the Piggy Paint site and found a delightful palette of colors.

The Forever Fancy stole the show for me… look at it!

Piggy Paint™ is specially formulated from God’s natural ingredients and dries to a hard, durable finish. There are no toxic chemicals; it’s free of formaldehyde, toluene, phthalates, Bisphenol A, ethyl acetate and acetone.  Say good-bye to harsh, smelly chemicals and hello to Piggy Paint™…it’s as Natural as Mud!  After reading that it was is all natural, safe for little piggies, and odorless, I ordered a bottle for Sister.  Since Sister has asthma, I have to be careful of the chemical odors that I allow her to be around.

The first time I painted Sister’s nails with the Piggy Paint was for Easter.

And, I fell in love with Piggy Paint.  As did Sister.

I recently received an opportunity to do a review for Piggy Paint.  Of course, I jumped up and down and squealed agreed to do so.  Piggy Paint offered to send me one bottle of Piggy Paint, color chosen at random, and a bottle of the Piggy Paint Remover to facilitate my review.  When I received the package, I had to chuckle, because the color I received was Forever Fancy.  We are destined to have Fancy nails Forever… LOL.

Since Sister is almost eighteen months old now (three days to go), I thought I would celebrate by painting her nails again.  Only, this time, I decided to do it while she was awake… not such a good idea.  Aside from her being a squirmy worm, she was fascinated with the polish bottle and I practically had to wrestle it out of her hands.

piggypaint_selah

I hadn’t planned to have to use the polish remover right away, but since she kept wiggling, it was necessary.  And just like the polish, the remover is virtually odorless.  In fact, my Mom, who absolutely detests the smell of polish remover, didn’t even realize I had it opened when she came to visit.  And more importantly, it didn’t bother Sister’s asthma.

image image What I like about Piggy Paint…

  • It is proven safe
  • It is odorless
  • It is hypoallergenic
  • It is water-based
  • It is durable
  • It is easily removed
  • It is award winning-

Piggy Paint would like to offer Lady V dZine readers an exclusive coupon, good for 10% off exclusive for your readers on anything on our website including sale items.  Your special savings code is LADY10L and it expires on  August 31, 2010.

Piggy Paint offers individual colors as well as gift packs.  I like the Fight Breast Cancer Pack, as a portion of the proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  I also like the Ribbons, Bows, and Toes set, because every girl needs green and yellow nail polish, right?
