Springfield Doll Review

My daughter loves dolls.  She has the most vivid imagination possible, and her dolls have some of the BEST conversations.  It is so interesting, to me, to listen to my daughter process through things while playing with her dolls.  She recently had a little squabble with her BFF at church, and for three days afterward, her dolls had mock arguments and make ups.  It was so cute.

One of her dolls is Emma.  Emma is a Springfield Doll.  Emma helped us decorate the Christmas tree.

She also fell in love with Rudolph.

Most importantly, she earned a place in Sister’s heart, not to mention a spot next to her in bed.

Of course, she has to take turns with the others, because we only allow one doll or animal in the bed each night.

The Springfield Doll dolls are 18″ – and have the same size/look as an American Girl or Madame Alexander doll, both of which we own.   Fresh out of the box, the Springfield Doll is a little bit stiffer to pose, but warmed up to posing after having been played with a bit.  I suppose the outfit she comes dressed in is supposed to be a nightgown, because she came barefoot.  We have hardwood floors, so we quickly added a pair of shoes to her ensemble.

Because Springfield Dolls are at a much lower price point for Moms, you can stock up on the accessories, too.  Springfield Dolls are available at Michaels and are on sale today!

What are you waiting for?  There’s still time to add one to the presents under the tree!

  2. Emma is cute! I like dolls. Just not BABY dolls. They freak me out. LOL. Sweet T is getting one for Christmas this year anyway though since she likes them. Mama is just weird. 😉

  3. I love that that the dolls had “mock arguments and make ups”, that is so sweet.

  4. That was so thoughtful of you to outfit her with some shoes! If she gets the solo spot available in Sister’s bed, that’s saying a lot!

  5. Emma is a very cute doll. I love the reindeer too!

  6. adorable doll and I bet she’ll be so loved. I was thinking she was pretty tall and looked like an American Doll what a great affordable option for moms who want to give them child something so special. Thanks for sharing

  7. totally unrelated to the doll, I love lil miss’s tousled hair, so cute
    the doll is pretty too

  8. Aw, that is so precious. My son just starting playing with his Ernie doll and I can’t wait to see if he starts interacting with it also.

  9. Dolls like that are the best. I had so many American Girl Dolls. They did everything with me too :-). It is nice to find a doll like them that is a more affordable option. Since they’re the same size you could get a cheaper doll and yet get accessories from so many different places for them!
