Show Me the Blog Conference STL

Finally!  A blog shindig in St. Louis!

As you may know, there are a ton of blog conferences every year.  Brandcation, BlogHer, Blog World, Blogging While Brown, Relevant… The list goes on.  BUT, it seems like the blog conferences NEVER come to St. Louis.  With two under three, I have sadly been unable to attend any blogging conferences.   Aside from the exorbitant cost involved with most conferences (aside from MomDot’s Brandcation’s, which are incredibly affordable), it just isn’t feasible for me to leave town for several days leaving behind two toddler’s and one mystified husband.

But, I will despair no more!

Why, you ask?  Because the first annual Show Me the Blog Social Media and Blogging Conference was recently announced.  The conference will take place on October 23, 2010 at Spazio Westport.

And I am going!

Since it is practically in my own backyard, I really can’t pass it up!  And it is also incredibly affordable.  I don’t have to worry about airfare, hotel fees, etc, etc.  And, I don’t have to worry about my mystified husband back home and wonder whether or not the toddlers have taken over!

I am really excited.

Of course, I still want to be able to attend a Brandcation and BlogHer.  But, in the meantime, I am going to get in on the ground floor here in St. Louis.

About Virginia

Hi there! My name is Virginia, and I am the author/owner of That Bald Chick. I am a Christian, wife, mother of three, full time homemaker, homeschooler, and ministry volunteer in addition to being a blogger. In my free time *cough* I enjoy reading, writing, taking walks with my family, and listening to music.

  1. I hope to do Brandcation too, when it is more feasible with my daughter. Until then, unless they come to Providence, RI or Boston there is no way.

  2. I can not wait to see you there!

  3. Nice. St Louis is home and I may be able to stay with my parents and make that one.

  4. sweet! see you there.
