Rubens Barn Kids Ark Dolls plus Giveaway (12/1)

Sister has quite a few dolls.  This year for Christmas, I wanted to give her something a little frog bunny lambdifferent, but also knew that she would be wanting dolls (she always does), so I thought I’d look around for some cute dolls that were different.  I found the plush dolls on Magic Cabin’s website, and immediately fell in love with their Barn Kids Ark Dolls.

Rubens Barn® (“Barn” means “children” in Swedish) has been creating dolls since 1995.  ark kids extra outfitsThe dolls are designed in Sweden and each doll has sparkly embroidered eyes, a sweet *and lovable* pixie face, and a weighted bottom that makes it feel like a real baby when held. Each doll has it’s own unique personality.

Can I just say they are absolutely adorable?!?

Each doll comes dressed in a Rubens Ark animal costume, transforming your typical chubby soft-sculpted doll into an adorable creature.  The dolls weighted bottom also helps them sit up, and their outfits are removable. The dolls are currently available as a frog, bunny, or lamb.

Extra outfits available include a penguin, a crocodile, and an elephant.

So, Sister is getting the bunny and the frog.  If the way I love these things is any indication, I know she is going to love them too.  I can’t decide which feature is my favorite.  I love the stitched eyes (no buttons to be choked on) and I adore the hair on each of these.  The bunny has little pigtails hiding under those bunny ears.  SO cute!

I can’t wait to see her face when she opens these!

The folks over at Magic Cabin would like to give one lucky TBC reader a Barn Kids Ark Doll of their very own.  Get a jump start on the giveaway by liking Magic Cabin on Facebook and following Magic Cabin in Twitter.
