PreSchool! First Sight Words DVD

We recently had the opportunity to review the PreSchool First Sight Words DVD from the makers of Rock ‘N Learn.  We have a collection of Rock ‘N Learn DVD’s, and were excited to add another DVD from their lineup to our collection.

    • First Sight Words
    • Over 50 sight words
      taught in context
    • Boost reading skills Running time: Approx. 30 min.
      Retail: $14.99

Five minutes into the DVD, Mister reported, “Mom, this is exactly the same as our Rock ‘N Learn Sight Words DVD, just a different cover. He did watch the entire DVD, and kept pointing out that it was the same as our Rock ‘N Learn Sight Words DVD.  He was bummed.

I didn’t realize that the Rock ‘N Learn series was originally produced for schools and libraries.  I can understand why, they are a great resource! The value-priced PreSchool! and UpGrades! DVDs are available at Sam’s Club locations nationwide for $7.98 (Retail $14.99) DVDs for a limited time through September while supplies last.

These DVD’s are wonderful, not to mention a great value.  We will be passing along the duplicate to a friend for their little one.  When shopping the PreSchool! or UpGrades! dvds be sure to check any Rock ‘N Learn titles you may own first.  The Ready for School DVD, which correlates with the Rock ‘N Learn Getting Ready for Kindergarten DVD, features counting, colors, tying shoes (bunny ear method), being neat and tidy, following directions, holding a pencil, printing letters, listening, and more. My son loves his.  The DVD’s are fun, and feature animated characters that make it easy for your child to get involved and practice right along with the video.
